SecurityScorecard uses data from publicly available commercial and open-source feeds across the internet to get an “outside-in, hacker perspective of a company’s cybersecurity posture.” A score is a moment-in-time capture of the security profile of a company.
First, get a SecurityScorecard API key
Login to your SecurityScorecard account at https://platform.securityscorecard.io/#/start
Click on the menu in the top right and select "My Settings"
Select "API" and then click on "Generate New API Token"
Read the warning message and click "Confirm"
Copy your API token
Lastly, create a SecurityScorecard credential in Tines
Login to your Tines tenant
Navigate to the team that will be using the API and click "Credential"
Click "+ New Credential" and select "Text"
Input the values for the SecurityScorecard credential
Name: SecurityScorecard
Description: Optional
Value: Your API token
Optional
Domains: Ensure this credential can only be used when making HTTP requests to specific domains.
Access: What other teams can also use the API
Click "Save"
