Intercom helps support teams streamline workflows, manage conversation volumes, and optimize resources.
First, create an Intercom app
Navigate to your Intercom Developer Hub
https://app.intercom.com/a/apps/<<workspace_id>>/developer-hubClick "New app"
Name your app, select your "Workspace" and click "Create app"
Copy your "Access token" to a text editor and select the required permissions
Lastly, create an Intercom credential in Tines
Login to your Tines tenant
Navigate to the team that will be using the API and click "Credentials"
Click "+ New Credential" and select "Text"
Input the values for the Intercom credential
Name: Intercom
Description: Optional
Value: Your Access token
Optional
Domains: Ensure this credential can only be used when making HTTP requests to specific domains.
Access: What other teams can also use the API
Click "Save"
